TREE AND ARBORIST SERVICES

The company was founded around 1985. The owner, Hubert Halden, grew up in Cape Breton, where he worked in the woods, cutting hardwood and softwood from an early age. He became familiar with equipment as he learned the trade of heavy equipment repair and welding in trade school. He had to leave Cape Breton for employment, so he came to Toronto in 1980 and has been doing tree work as well as his mechanical trade. He has been a certified arborist since 1995 and a qualified tree risk assessor since 2019. He began in the early 80’s as an assistant to arborists working for private companies, learning the business from mentors such as old tree men and a registered consulting arborist working in Mount Pleasant Cemetery pruning and removing trees for about 10 years. He was involved in municipal and residential private work in the early 80’s right up to the present. All Seasons Tree Service has worked on large-scale contracts with Toronto Community Housing Corporation communities since 2005 and municipalities throughout Ontario since the 1990s. All Seasons has also served residential clients since the early 1980s. Hubert attained a certificate in arboriculture from Humber College as well as several other certificates critical to safety in the industry from trainers such as Arboriculture Canada and the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association. Has been a member of the international Society of Arboriculture as well as the Ontario Chapter for many years and continues education with them, attending seminars and conferences as well as courses time to time. He has extensive experience in all aspects of arboriculture, pruning, removals, cable and bracing, pest control, fertilizing, planting, and more… He also has experience around energized lines and holds a certificate in line clearing proficiency. Hubert is a senior arborist now and still performs services in the field. He is in excellent condition and follows a fitness regime when not working.The owner strives to be fair and honest in everything he does inside and outside of tree work and has no tolerance for substandard work by any of his employees.
